چکیده
Mass flow inequality in the initial stage of tube processing can lead to eccentricity and micro- nano-structural changes that affect residual stress texture development. In this study, macro- micro-texture development copper tubes drawn with a tilted die was investigated using three methods: synchrotron, neutron diffraction, electron backscatter positions maximum minimum wall thickness tubes. Understanding how is main aim study. The results EBSD examinations showed same behavior at sides as-received tube, as observed synchrotron diffraction method well macro-texture measurements. cube component found be predominant orientation tube. However, it almost disappeared after drawing −5° tilting. By contrast, Cu increased significantly. Before drawing, varied strongly across thickness. After however, there no noticeable gradient analyses tilting not creating an inhomogeneous over circumference.

Determination of the Optimal Reduction Ratio for Least Springback during Cold Drawing of Seamless Tubes
Cold drawing process is one of the most used metals forming processes in industries for forming seamless tubes. This process of plastic deformation of metals occurs below the recrystallization temperature and is generally performed at room temperature. When metal is cold worked, upon the release of forming force, the springback occurs. In this paper, the springback effect of the seamless tube t...

This paper investigates axial compression process of multi-layered tubes with circular cross-section under the axial loading in the quasi-static condition using experimental method. Some specimens are prepared in seven different groups, namely; empty carbon/epoxy composite tubes, solid carbon/epoxy composite rods, empty copper tubes, composite tubes with silicon sealant filler, concentrically s...
متن کاملFluid Dynamics in a Copper Converter: an Investigation on Mixing Phenomena in an Experimental Model
In this study, the mixing phenomena and fluid dynamics in a copper converter have been experimentally investigated using a physical model. The physical model is a 1:5 horizontal tank made of Plexiglas. The mixing phenomena have been characterized by experimentally measuring the mixing time using a tracer dispersion technique. Moreover, the effects of the air flow rate and lance submergence on t...
متن کاملEvolution of Texture and Grain Size during Equal Channel Angular Extrusion of Pure Copper and 6012 Aluminum
Among different SPD techniques, Equal channel Angular Pressing has attracted the most attentions, because of applying large strain to solid bulk materials. In this research, ECAP process up to 6 passes was carried out on a pure copper and a 6012 Al-Mg-Si alloy with BC route in ECAP dies with Φ=120 and Ψ=20 and diameter of 20and 10 millimeter respectively. Moreover, X-ray diffraction (XRD) syste...
